Red, red, red is the colour of passion and seduction. An opera "Carmen" comes to mind at once. It is a complicated, full of drama and jealousy love triangle story between a beautiful gipsy named Carmen, a naive soldier Don Jose, and torero Escamillo.
I watched that opera only one time in my life when I was in school at age 15 and still remember the story, music, costumes, decorations and all that jazz. It remains on my wish list to the present day to rewatch it again, to revive my childhood memory.
For me, red means confidence, a bold statement expressed through red lipstick worn on a woman or a red dress.
